CAIRO, Dec 20 (Aswat Masriya) - The liberal Wafd Party's Higher Commission has called for holding presidential elections after approving the new constitution yet before holding any parliamentary elections.

During its Thursday meeting, the committee discussed the current political situation and the party's plans in preparation for the upcoming constitutional referendum.

The committee also discussed the roadmap and the party’s campaign to urge people to cast their votes in the referendum, a party statement said.

On Thursday, President Adli Mansour met with 60 representatives of youths to discuss the roadmap and identify the youths’ opinion on arranging the priorities of this phase.
