Some protesters closed the Cairo governorate headquarters on Wednesday, preventing employees from entering to preform their work and demanding that the Cairo governor be sacked, reported the state news agency.

The protesters, who oppose Islamist President Mohamed Mursi, attempted to storm the state building on Monday, but security forces managed to settle the situation.

This time they chained its doors shut.

Cairo's Governorate Spokesperson, Khaled Mostafa, said that the governor is conducting his work through contacting officials and district heads.
