Fans of the Suez football team stormed al-Zarqa stadium in Damietta after the rival team scored a second goal in a crucial match between them.

The Suez team fans smashed the stadium's seats after al-Zarqa team, the host, scored the second goal, which prompted the referee to halt the match.

In 2012, riots following a football match in Port Said killed more than 70 people in one of the deadliest incidents in the history of Egyptian football.
