CAIRO, June 17 (Aswat Masriya) Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi convened the new government, headed by Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, on Tuesday, soon after the new ministers were sworn into office.
The meeting is expected to discuss a roadmap for the upcoming period, the state news agency said.
The new cabinet includes 34 ministers, 13 of which are new, and does not include an Information Ministry or a Ministry of Administrative Development.
The new government will include an entire ministry dedicated to slums under the name of Urban Development.
The former government resigned last week after Sisi's inauguration in accordance with the constitution.
