CAIRO, Oct 8 (Aswat Masriya) - The group calling itself “Hasam Movement” claimed responsibility on Saturday for the death of a policeman in Behiera.

Citing ٍsecurity sources, Reuters reported that armed men on a motorcycle shot at the policeman in front of his house during the early hours of Saturday. 

The movement said in a statement on Telegram application that the killed policeman was part of the “militias” of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

Hasam published photos of allegedly of the policeman’s house and where he works. 

The recently emerged group claimed responsibility for the attempted assassination of the assistant prosecutor general late September.

In August, the group claimed reponsibility for the attempted assassination of Egypt’s former Grand Mufti Ali Gomaa.

Gomaa survived the attempt but one of his guards was injured.
