EgyptAir says flights to take off as per initial schedules

 CAIRO, May 19 (Aswat Masriya) - All EgyptAir flights will convene according to initially planned schedules, EgyptAir said on Thursday, after one of its flights disappeared off the radar 10 miles away from Egyptian airspace.

The company said in a statement that 48 international and domestic trips, including one to the Charles de Gaulle in Paris, have taken off since 11 am this morning.

The company added that a total of 116 international and domestic flights are due to take off today.  

The flight, MS804, disappeared off the radar as it was crossing the Mediterranean at 2:45 Cairo time en route from Paris to Cairo, EgyptAir said early Thursday morning. 

There are approximately 66 passengers on board the flight, including the 10-member crew and three security officials, EgyptAir said.
