Egyptian security forces have arrested 385 suspects for the Fattah Mosque events that took place on Saturday.

Those arrested included one Syrian, a man from Turkey and three Irish men, a statement by the interior ministry said.

Security forces clashed yesterday with supporters of ousted President Mohamed Mursi who had hidden in the mosque in Ramsis since Friday.

Authorities provided the protesters with a safe exit out of the mosque on Saturday while security forces and residents of the area cordoned the mosque.

They found machineguns and rifles among other arms with the suspects, reported the sate news agency.
