Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy said on Sunday that he asked that all foreign aid be reviewed objectively and rationally with keeping in mind the country's sovereignty.
Fahmy explained that foreign aid has been both appreciated and beneficial for Egypt and threatening to withdraw it is unacceptable.
He added, however, that the current events taking place in Egypt are bigger than to be seen from the foreign aid lens.
