Cairo, Nov 22 (Aswat Masriya) - Security forces intensified their presence around the presidential palace in Cairo's Masr al-Gedida before the start of protests which a pro-Mursi coalition called for.

The National Coalition for Supporting Legitimacy, which backs former President Mohamed Mursi, has urged Egyptians to take part in week-long demonstrations held under the title "Rabaa... Massacre of the Century" starting Friday 22 November.

Four military vehicles were deployed at Merghani Street and two others at Gate Four of the palace, the Middle East News Agency reported.

Three armoured vehicles and several formations of central security forces were also deployed in a side street parallel to Omar Ibn Abdel Aziz Mosque.
