An Egyptian police officer was killed in Northern Sinai during confrontations with outlaws on Sunday, announced the Interior Ministry.
An eyewitness told Aswat Masriya that the police officer, Mohamed Sayed Abdel Aziz, was driving his car in Arish when unknown assailants shot fire at him, causing his immediate death.
The security forces are currently pursuing the assailants and intensifying their efforts in order to arrest them.
