Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi addresses the nation in a speech - Handout
CAIRO, Sep 6 (Aswat Masriya) - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi warned on Sunday that "information and psychological warfare are destroying ... countries," the state news agency MENA reported.
While speaking to military academy students at dawn, Sisi stressed that these types of warfare must be studied to confront their effects on Egyptian youth.
He added that Egyptian society must be made aware of the potential threats of information and psychological warfare, which must be rectified to serve national interests.
The Egyptian president has repeatedly warned of a new generation of warfare in previous speeches.
