CAIRO, April 11 (Aswat Masriya) - One militant was killed when radicals in North Sinai's Sheikh Zoueid clashed with army forces on Friday morning.
The army chased two suspect vehicles in the Goura area and exchanged fire with its passengers, killing one of them, security sources told Aswat Masriya.
They also arrested the other three passengers and confiscated arms found in the two vehicles, the sources added.
Army and police forces have jointly launched raids against extremists and militants in Sinai after the latter had escalated the violence against security forces following former President Mohamed Mursi's removal from power.
