At least three police conscripts were wounded in an armed attack on a bus in Sinai's town of Sheikh Zuweid on Sunday morning, security sourced said. 

The conscripts were in a bus ride when unknown assailants attacked it on the Arish-Rafah International Road, close to the border with the Gaza Strip.

Attacks on security personnel have increased in the Sinai Peninsula since the ouster of Islamist President Mohamed Mursi. 

The police and army began an intensive campaign in August to capture all the outlaws and assailants and restore order to the region.
