CAIRO, Aug 12 (Aswat Masriya) - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is going to visit Russia on Tuesday, the state-owned news agency reported.
Sisi is scheduled to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin and discuss the regional situation.
This will be the first visit by Sisi to Russia since he became president in May. He met with Putin in Russia in February when he was a Defence Minister.
Diplomatic relations between Moscow and Cairo started in 1943. It reached its peek in the sixties as the Soviet Union supported Egypt in building infrastructure projects.
