CAIRO, Jan 28 (Aswat Masriya) - The 46th Cairo International Book Fair is launching on Wednesday, under the theme Culture and Renovation.

The fair will resume until February 12, with Saudi Arabia as a guest of honour.

The General Egyptian Book Organisation has cancelled the celebrations marking the launch of the fair following the death of Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah. The Saudi monarch died early Friday.

Launched in 1969, the Cairo Book Fair is attended by hundreds of Arab and foreign publishers every year.
