Registration for Egyptian expatriates to vote in the upcoming parliamentary elections will end on Monday night.
Registration using the national ID number has been available to expatriates from 8 January 2013 until 18 February through the Higher Elections Commission website.
To be eligible for registration and voting the in elections, the voter should be 18 years old before the voters are officially called on to cast their votes, should have a national ID number, and should not be legally prevented from practicing his political rights.
The number of registered expatriates has reached 652,153 out of around three million Egyptian expatriates living or working abroad.
