President-elect Mohamed Mursi arrived on Saturday at the Supreme Constitutional Court headquarters to take the oath of office as per the complementary constitutional declaration the military council issued.

Mursi took a symbolic oath in Tahrir square on Friday during a million-man protest to demand power transfer after much debate around taking the oath before members of the constitutional court.

Members of the court arrived at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Scores of citizens gathered in front of the court building yet traffic was smooth.
