UPPER EGYPT, April 5 (Aswat Masriya) The death toll of violent clashes that erupted between two tribes in Aswan late on Friday have risen to 23, with tens wounded, Egypt's health ministry said.
Aswan's governor, Mostafa Yousry, has asked Defense Minister Sedki Sobhi to send reinforcements to the area of the confrontation.
Clashes between al-Halayel and al-Dabodeya tribes followed tension between students over a case of harassment.
