CAIRO, April 4 (Aswat Masriya) Egyptian security forces fired teargas on a march staged by dozens of protesters supporting the Muslim Brotherhood in Giza's Haram Street after they blocked it, reported the state news agency.

The forces dispersed the protesters who escaped to side streets.

The authorities halted an attempt by Brotherhood supporters to block Saleh Salem Street in Nasr City.

As for Suez Bridge's Alf Maskan, the security forces intensified their presence and traffic was diverted in anticipation of riots.

The National Coalition for Supporting Legitimacy has called for week-long protests starting Friday to support the "students' movement."

At least five people were killed last week during clashes.
