CAIRO, Dec 26 (Aswat Masriya) - Two armed men were killed, three police personnel and two civilians were injured in a crossfire on the outskirts of Cairo early Friday, a security source said.
The incident took place between a security partol and the assailants in Madinat al-Salam. The latter were found in possession of a homemade bomb, which explosives' experts moved to the scene to defuse, state-run MENA reported.
Meanwhile, a military vehicle also exploded on a road in southern al-Arish in Sinai early Friday, killing two army personnel and injuring a third.
