Hundreds marched on Sunday evening from al-Nour Mosque headed to the presidential palace in solidarity with a sit-in that began at the palace last Tuesday.
The sit-in is a protest against President Mohamed Mursi's policies and his call for a referendum on the newly-drafted controversial constitution.
The number of demonstrators in this march is significantly less than that of last week's protests, Aswat Masriya correspondent reported.
The Popular Current and several political activists had called for four marches today all to head to the presidential palace.
Four demonstrations to support Mursi will be organized following al-Isha prayer on Sunday in different areas in Cairo, the Freedom and Justice Party's Secretariat in Cairo said.
