The speech president Mohamed Mursi gave on Saturday at Cairo University’s Great Celebration Hall is of great importance and is very well-prepared, Amr Moussa, former Secretary General of the Arab League, said today.
One of the speech’s strengths is Mursi’s focus on the future Egypt not the past one and on Egypt as a whole not Egypt as parties or groups, Moussa stated.
One of the main points in the speech is Mursi’s talk about the Arabic national security and its relation to the Egyptian national security, the Middle East News Agency reported Mursi as saying.
Mursi talked about the nation, men and women, Muslims and Christians, which is reassuring, Moussa said.
“I admired his insistence on pronouncing correct Arabic and how he repeated a sentence if he made a grammatical mistake,” he added.
