Egypt's Prison Service Sector has agreed to transfer Alaa Mubarak, son of toppled President Hosni Mubarak, to Tora prison, to accompany his ill father, a security source told the Middle East News Agency.
It was the former president's request to have his elder son transferred to Tora, in light of his deteriorating health conditions, the source said.
Gamal Mubarak, the younger son, was also transferred to Tora upon Mubarak's arrival.
