CAIRO, Dec 8 (Aswat Masriya) Tens of Egyptian policemen organized a demonstration by the interior ministry in Central Cairo on Sunday to demand promotions.
The protesters also demanded the removal of the interior minister’s deputy for legal affairs amid heavy security presence, an eyewitness said.
A law passed recently obliges protesters to inform the authorities three days prior to rallying and obtain a permit.
