ALEXANDRIA, May 20 (Aswat Masriya) Army forces went inside Alexandria University on Tuesday afternoon to control clashes between security forces and protesting students who "support the Muslim Brotherhood", an Aswat Masriya witness said.

The security forces fired teargas bombs to disperse a protest by the Brotherhood students, who in return set fire to trash cans in order to reduce the smell of the gas.

The students chanted against the police and demanded the boycott of the upcoming presidential elections.
