“Morsi Meter”, a website launched to evaluate the performance of Egypt's newly-elected president, claims Mohamed Mursi only fulfilled one of his promises since being sworn in, 31 days ago.
A number of activists had launched the website to observe the performance of the elected president during the first 100 days of his rule. The website listed 64 promises concerning security, bread, traffic, fuel and sanitation.
According to the website, Mursi only fulfilled one promise out of the eight concerned with sanitation, which is to activate media campaigns to raise awareness on the importance of sanitation and the harm of leaving garbage out in the street.
Mursi's promises include 17 concerned with security, 13 concerned with bread, five concerned with fuel, including resolving the gasoline crisis, and 21 concerned with traffic.
