One person was killed and more than 20 others were injured in clashes between supporters of ousted President Mohamed Mursi and Port Said residents on Friday.

A pro-Mursi march coming from al-Tawheed Mosque clashed with a group of Port Said residents. The two groups exchanged stones and gunfire.

The injured were taken to Port Said General Hospital, Omar Ibn al-Khattab Hospital, and Aal Suleiman Hospital.

Joint police and army forces contained the clashes.
