Egypt's Ministry of Justice official spokesperson Hisham Raouf said that there is no truth to allegations that journalists and foreign correspondents are not allowed into polling stations.

Raouf said that some journalists reported to the supreme committee for overseeing the referendum that they were prevented from entering polling stations. He said their complaints were attended to promptly and that everyone is allowed in.

He stressed that judges who have expressed public opinion on the constitution whether positive or negative are not involved in overseeing it, and that all polling stations are under the supervision of judges.
