CAIRO, June 21 (Aswat Masriya) – Police forces broke up on Saturday a demonstration against the protest law at the Ittihadeya presidential palace, eyewitnesses reported.

Police forces chased the demonstrators into side streets, the eyewitness added.

There are unconfirmed reports that some protesters were arrested.

Last March, former President Adli Mansour’s cabinet approved a decree-law that criminalises protests and demonstrations and punishes those who call for them.
