The Democratic Front of April 6 Youth movement announced on Wednesday that it will not take part in the million-man protest scheduled for Friday August 24.

At the same time, the front emphasized its support for freedom of expression.

“There is no room for muzzling people anymore in Egypt after the January 25 revolution,” Tarek al-Khouli, media spokesman of the front, said in a statement issued today.

“Security handling of demonstrations the same way Mubarak’s regime did will not be tolerated,” the spokesman added.

The Front warned those whom it described as seeking to stir up sedition in the country that the Egyptian people will not allow spreading sedition and evil0s in the country.
