CAIRO, Aug 22 (Aswat Masriya) - Three members of a Muslim Brotherhood-linked cell were arrested in Suez on Friday, Suez's head of security General Tarek El-Gazzar said.

They planned to manufacture improvised explosive devices (IEDs) to be used against the army and the police, El-Gazzar added.

The cell was discovered following the explosion of an IED in an Azhar student while he was assembling it at his house in Suez's Kafr Al-Arbaeen on August 15. He suffered some injuries.

The student was a member of the cell, which was composed of two other students and a teacher, according to El-Gazzar.
