MILAN/LONDON, Jan 27 (Reuters) - European energy trading houses have emerged as the big winners of a highly sought-after Egyptian tender to buy 75 liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargoes over a one-year period, trading sources said.

Vitol, Noble Group and Trafigura will supply the bulk of the LNG, with oil major BP covering the remainder, traders said.

Officials at Egypt's oil ministry and state-run gas company EGAS could not be reached for comment. (Reporting by Oleg Vukmanovic in Milan, Sarah McFarlane in London and Shadi Bushra in Cairo, editing by Louise Heavens)
