The Armed Forces are keen on "contributing with their resources to support plans for comprehensive development" in Egypt, al-Sisi said in a statement reported by the state news agency and published on the military's official spokesman Facebook page.

The minister was talking during a visit to inspect Saad al-Shazli axis road project which the Armed Forces' Engineering Authority is implementing to connect the ring road to the Cairo-Ismailia desert road.
