Brotherhood supporters clash with opponents in Alexandria

Alexandria, April 4 (Aswat Masriya) Clashes broke out between supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood and their opponents in Alexandria on Friday, a security source told Aswat Masriya.

Both sides pelted stones, empty bottles and Molotov cocktails at each other. Gunshots were heard, according to Alexandria Security Director Nasser al-Abd.

The police arrested 10 pro-Brotherhood protesters who have caused this unrest, al-Abd said.

Supporters of deposed Islamist President Mohamed Mursi staged protests in Alexandria, where demonstrations in support of Field Marshel Abdel Fattah al-Sisi' running for presidency took place as well.
